The Shelowitz & Associates philosophy rests on a single, fundamental objective: to assist our clients achieve their business goals.  If we aren’t helping our clients -- making life easier for them, rather than harder; accelerating their business efforts, rather than slowing them down; and providing creative solutions, rather than giving up at the first sign of a problem – then we are not doing our job.   We apply our experience, combined with practical and understandable advice, to provide legal solutions that are cost-effective, realistic, and focused.  In keeping with our fundamental objective, we partner with our clients – becoming a key part of their business team. 

With Shelowitz & Associates, there are no surprises – we are in close communication every step of the way. We will not exchange drafts; file documents; or take any strategic action before we discuss the full range of alternatives, and get our clients’ approval on the documents and the positions we take. We believe that open lines of communication – together with an objective analysis of possible alternatives and outcomes -- are an essential part of infusing our philosophy in all that we do.   Our clients know that they will receive matter updates by telephone and written correspondence in real time and can reach us whenever needed.

We apply our service philosophy equally to our billing process.  Before delivering our invoices, we carefully review our billing statements to ensure that our clients are billed for the services they engaged us for – at the agreed fees -- and nothing more.   Unlike many law firms, we do not bill our clients for sending faxes, nor for our telephone costs – since we don’t think this is fair.
